Welcome! I'm Alex Elvis Badillo, an Associate Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Systems at Indiana State University (ISU) located in Terre Haute, Indiana. I am the founder and director of the Geospatial and Virtual Archaeology Laboratory and Studio (GVALS). My archaeological research takes place in Mexico, Peru, Italy, and the USA. I specialize in Mesoamerican archaeology, settlement pattern survey, human-environment interactions, and the applications of geospatial and 3D technologies in archaeology.
